Safety Management

Brock's overall approach to health and safety is structured and detailed, utilizing various information tools such as seminars, bulletin board postings, and hard-copy handouts about key health and safety standards covering:

  • Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) safety procedures
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) procedures
  • Electrical safety standards
  • Lead exposure awareness training
  • Janitorial safety guidelines/drain clearing chemicals awareness training
  • Propane awareness training
  • Isocyanate Exposure Recognition
  • Lockout/Tagout Procedures
  • Safety Footwear Guidelines

To set safety objectives and to ensure these objectives are carried out, Brock supports an in-house Joint Health and Safety Committee. The committee is led by a select group of Brock employees that includes representation from Brock’s executive management.
