- Situation: The controls (both software and hardware) that ran Terminal One's baggage operations at JFK International Airport were over 10 years old.
- Brock Solutions’ Role: Brock was contracted by Oxford Airport Technical Services (a conveyor service contractor/ground support equipment maintenance company) to replace all existing upper-level software systems while maintaining the same basic functionality as was provided by the systems being replaced; design, program, and deploy a new redundant Sort Allocation Controller (SAC) Server; add new MECs (Manual Encode Consoles); and perform simulation tests throughout the project development cycle. Upgrades to the PLC layer and various BHS equipment and instrumentation were handled by Oxford.

- Issues: Difficulty maintaining the existing upper-level software systems; hardware components were breaking down at shorter intervals; replacing parts was becoming an increasingly time consuming and costly challenge.
- Requirement: Increased reliability and maintainability of BHS operations.
- Main Technology Components: Modicon, Microsoft SQL Server 2008, Windows 2003, Marathon EverRun HA software, Allen-Bradley/Rockwell RSView32, Simple Network Management Protocol, SNMP.
